Welcome to the home of the The Dave Fox Group.  Based in Greensboro, North Carolina, this modern jazz group plays a unique mixture of jazz and creative improvistion with hints of rock.  Their first recording, Gatewalk, released on the AssembledSound label out of Chapel Hill, received stellar reviews from jazz and avant-garde critics.  The group's follow-up project, If These Songs Could Talk, combined modern orignal tunes alongside inventive and unique interpretations of standards.  This disc also garnered critical praise, especially reagarding the group's creative approach to the standards' repertoire.  These recordings, and others by Dave Fox, are availalbe from CD Baby.com, or by contacting Dave at dave@davefoxgroup.com, or digitally at www.arselect.com.  (Read reviews of these and other recordings by clicking Press Reviews at the top of this page.)
